Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and streamline financial processes to improve efficiency across the business.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support business operations.
- Implement financial strategies and operational changes that align with company goals.
- Manage and maintain the asset register with extensive knowledge and experience.
- Oversee the financial aspects of operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data.
- Work with SAGE 300 to ensure effective financial management and reporting.
- Collaborate with the operational teams to provide financial support and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Lead and mentor two direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Bonus: Manage wage-related processes and support HR/payroll where needed.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar Financial Manager role, preferably in a services environment.
- Strong operational experience with a focus on process improvement and financial efficiency.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage and manipulate large datasets.
- Extensive experience with SAGE 300 (required).
- In-depth knowledge of managing and maintaining asset registers.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a small team.
- Bonus: Experience in environments dealing with wages or payroll.
