Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise and lead front-of-house staff, ensuring they meet the restaurants service standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service and quality food and beverages.
  • Oversee reservations and manage guest flow to ensure optimal seating and minimize wait times.
  • Assist in inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in budgeting, cost control, and achieving financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and training to staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Assist in organizing events, promotions, and special functions to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, or similar role in a fine dining or 5-star environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff effectively.
  • A strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve guest complaints with professionalism and tact.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A degree in hospitality management or relevant field is a plus, but not required.
