My Client a GIANT in the steel industry is looking for a DYNAMIC SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join their team in the FREE STATE BRANCH

Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals.
  • Generating leads
  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Maintaining client records
  • Assisting customers with queries related to products, pricing and availability
  • Servicing of new and existing customers
  • Completing of call reports
  • Assisting customers with technical advice and queries
  • Opening up of new sustainable accounts
  • Achieving monthly target
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining good customer relationships
  • Identify new opportunities for potential sales
  • Accurately report on market trends, pricing and projects
  • Expedite sales orders
  • Work closely with Internal Sales staff to ensure best possible service to customers
  • Check stock, do quotes and process sales orders on Syspro
  • Assisting the Counter Sales staff when required
  • Sort out account queries and follow up on outstanding payments
REQUIREMENTS
  • Syspro experience required
  • Candidate must have 3-5 years experience in selling steel and steel related products
  • Must have experience within a Retail environment
  • Experience as a Sales Representative will be a big advantage
  • Sound knowledge of the Free State province and surrounding areas
  • Must be target driven regarding turnover and gross profit
  • Understanding of sales process and dynamics
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment

Must have a valid drivers licence
