Salary: ZAR4500 - ZAR5300 Per month

Job Description:

The Business Intelligence Engineer is an integral part of a team responsible for developing and supporting custom solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency of our client's asset care services.

Job Duties:

• Designing and implementing business intelligence solutions
• Developing reports using various reporting tools
• Utilising PostgreSQL RDBMS or Microsoft SQL for data analysis
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Preferred qualification Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in coding and designing business intelligence solutions
• Familiarity with at least one reporting tool

Minimum requirements:

• Between the ages of 18 - 34
• 0-12 months related working experience
• African
• Have not taken part in the YES program previously
• Unemployed

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of data analysis and visualisation techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Intelligence or related field
• Certifications in relevant BI tools
• Experience with ETL processes

Working Conditions:

This role is based in Cape Town and may require occasional travel to client sites. The Business Intelligence Engineer is expected to work full-time hours on a contract basis, with potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.
