Join Our Team: Mechanical Design Engineer Armored Vehicles (Centurion)
This is an exciting opportunity to lead innovative projects in the defense sector while collaborating with a team of top-tier engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Vehicle Design: Take ownership of the design, development, and enhancement of armored military vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest performance and safety standards.
- Apply Technical Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of suspension, armor, powertrains, and electronics to push the boundaries of military vehicle systems.
- Project Leadership: Oversee the entire design processfrom concept to productionensuring each project is completed on time and in full compliance with military specifications.
- Collaboration: Work alongside a dynamic team of engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet both operational needs and technical excellence.
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee all vehicle designs meet relevant military standards and defense regulations (MIL-STD, NATO, etc.).
- Mentor the Team: Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and designers, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality results.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in military vehicle design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CAD (preferably Autodesk Inventor) and a solid understanding of military vehicle subsystems like powertrains, armor, and electronics.
- In-Depth Knowledge: Strong familiarity with military specifications (MIL-STD, NATO standards) and materials used in defense vehicles.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex engineering challenges, working under pressure to meet high-stakes deadlines.
- Leadership: A natural leader with the ability to manage projects, teams, budgets, and timelines effectively.
