Here at FIXR we’re on a mission to be the number one ticketing platform globally. Ticket sales and event management can typically be a clunky, manual process, but our platform makes it easier than ever for event organisers to create seamless, user-friendly experiences for their customers.

Not only that, we provide our organisers with data intelligence and insights that help to retain and grow their audience over time.

We kickstarted our journey in 2015, and have since helped millions of people enjoy events all over the world. We were born in the UK student events industry and have since seen explosive growth across wider industry areas, expanding into new verticals and markets globally.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our close knit team as we drive new growth and lead the charge in building innovative event tech with exceptional support and service for an underserved events market.

Who You Are:

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to work on a part-time basis from our Cape Town office. The role is ideal for a designer who wants regular work and income (part-time 2 days a week) whilst also remaining independent with other client work.

You will have the flexibility to work from home but must be based in Cape Town and must be willing to work from our local office where required. The successful candidate will initially work full-time for one month to onboard before transitioning to part-time hours.

You are a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With strong communication skills and a self-starter mentality, you’re comfortable collaborating remotely with our UK-based content team while working from our Cape Town office when required.

You’re at home working in Figma and can craft compelling visual messages across a variety of marketing channels.

As a Graphic Designer at FIXR, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our brand. You will create engaging designs across multiple marketing channels, working closely with the Content and Product Marketing teams to deliver impactful messaging.

At FIXR we power events of all shapes and sizes, from grassroots club nights to large-scale festivals and family attractions. As such, our platform is multifaceted with many different features to support our wide range of customers. Features range from simple to complex but all need to be explained and well-communicated via compelling visuals.

Your work will directly support marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales initiatives. We need you to take ownership of projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality, on-brand visuals that help to demonstrate the value of the FIXR platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the wider Marketing team to develop creative concepts and execute designs for various marketing channels, including email, website, social channels, and in-product communications.
  • Ensure consistency across all design outputs, maintaining high standards for brand guidelines and visual storytelling.
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and impactful graphics.
  • Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new design techniques, and best practices to continuously enhance FIXR’s brand presence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in a high-growth company, preferably in the tech sector.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to craft messages through graphics.
  • Experience designing for a wide range of marketing channels, including email, website, social media, and in-product.
  • An eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for delivering visually compelling designs.
