Job Description
Role Summary:Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the full operations of their flagship restaurant. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing upmarket dining establishments, a passion for delivering exceptional service, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage the full operation of the restaurant, including daily service, events catering, and conference coordination.
- Financial Oversight: Handle cash management, budgeting, and financial controls to ensure profitability.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Customer Experience: Ensure the highest standards of customer service, addressing guest needs with professionalism and grace.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a motivated and skilled team to deliver exceptional service.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute conferences, weddings, and special functions seamlessly.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain impeccable standards in food presentation, cleanliness, and ambiance.
- Problem Solving: Resolve operational challenges promptly and effectively, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time role operating Monday to Sunday, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Flexibility to manage long hours in a high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
Hospitality qualification or similar
Skills- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent financial acumen, including experience with cash management and cost control.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with an eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
