Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity awaits a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about financial reporting, internal controls, and budget preparation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing audit files and recording investment data transactions.
• Consolidating fund managers reports and updating investment positions monthly.
• Reviewing payment requisitions, supplier invoices, and bank reconciliations.
• Preparing and filing VAT201, journals, and financial statements.
• Assisting with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Liaising with internal and external auditors and contributing to best practice system development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
• At least three years of post-article experience in a finance unit, ideally in the financial or insurance industry.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and familiarity with AX Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting systems.
