FUND TEAM LEADER: INVESTMENT OPERATIONS Cape Town

Highly Reputable Asset Management firm is currently recruiting within their dynamic CRM Team.

Main Purpose of the Role:
To ensure that the fund administration is undertaken accurately and within the set time constraints whilst collaborating with the investment team and provide support to other business areas.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Service delivery- Oversight and monitoring of daily, monthly and quarterly team deliverables and client queries and request
- Updating, allocation and monitoring of team BAU daily, monthly, quarterly deliverables
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining a stable control environment
- Maintenance of CRM procedure documents, perform review and update processes and procedures to reduce risk and improve efficiencies within the team
- Assist in annual Internal control review
- Ensure monthly Client satisfaction ratings are supplied to respective teams
- Work closely with all administrators to ensure KPIs are met and escalate any issues to Head: CRM
- Participation in quarterly meetings with respective custodians and treasury desks
- Ensuring monthly invoice and billing process is complete by requested deadline
- Monthly Invoices are generated, reviewed, and signed off
- All banking deductions and postings are completed correctly and accurately
- AUM registers are completed, signed off and shared with the Finance team by requested deadline
- Drive development of CRM staff, continuous on the job training and staff on-boarding of new staff members
- Manage CRM team leave dates
Drive semi-annual and annual Key Performance indicators of the CRM team in partnership with Head CRM:
- 1:1 meeting to be scheduled with team bi-monthly
- Complete performance write-up semi-annual and annually
- Assist with the external auditors for the Private Equity structures, Partnerships and other SPV vehicles, and finalisation of related Annual Financial Statements
- To assist in any responsibilities that the CEO or the CFO/COO may assign
Qualification, Skills and Experience required:
- Relevant Finance or Investment Degree
- 4-5 Years demonstrable experience within investment consulting / fund management / asset management including experience of investment report backs to clients
- Technical knowledge of Investments, encompassing knowledge of performance and positioning of funds
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Experience with Unit Trusts (Advantageous)
