Job Purpose:

The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales, staff management, inventory control, and customer service. Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Profitability:
• Drive store sales to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, customer footfall, and average transaction value.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Team Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team.

• Customer Experience:
• Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, leading by example in customer interactions.
• Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
• Implement and maintain high standards of store presentation and merchandising.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock levels are optimal and shrinkage is minimized.
• Manage ordering, receiving, and storage of products.
• Monitor product performance and adjust inventory levels to meet customer demand.
• Operational Efficiency:
• Ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently, meeting all operational targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Oversee cash handling, banking, and financial reporting procedures.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and retail regulations.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks and ensure staff are trained on safety protocols.
