Scope of the Job

• Assist with financial data entry, reconciliations, and report preparation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring smooth and timely transactions.
• Maintain and organize accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with tax filings, compliance, and audits as required.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Handle general administrative tasks related to financial operations.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting or analysis, preferably in e-commerce or retail industries. Experience with platforms such as Shopify or Amazon is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Analytical Thinker: You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex financial data and communicate your findings clearly.
• Detail-Oriented: You have strong attention to detail and can prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
